Yet another Fable of the Roma People, The Schilalyi were thought to be Demon creatures, also known as "The Cold Ones". In Roma myth, they were the offspring of The Goddess Ana. They were born of her excrement. Resembling a "normal" Mouse or related Rodent, they do not have typical legs. Instead they have many small, snake-like appendages (very much like a Centipede). The Schilalyi also feature glowing Red eyes. They do not bite however, but transmit their "poison" to their victims by rubbing their many legs against their unfortunate charge. Once infected, the victim will develop a severe influenza-like strain of sickness. The cure to this infection was to take the heart and lungs of a normal Mouse, mix them with alcohol - and rub this concoction onto the body of the sick person. In this "remedy", one can thwart the touch of The Schilalyi.
