Sasha and Zamani

Many Central African Folk Religions, ‘’Sasha and Zamani’’ are representative ‘’Spirits’’ which are meant to personify the Past and Present. ‘’Sasha’’ Spirits (Ghosts), are seen by living persons, while ‘’Zamani’’ Spirits cannot be seen but do make Their ‘’presence’’ known. By this is meant, any future event (either Bad or Good) are revealed by The Zamani (mostly thru visions). Sasha Spirits often appear to ‘’guide’’ the Living away from harmful events. They do not necessarily have to be Relatives.
