A well known Case of supposedly "actual" spiritual manifestation, the incident was very well documented Worldwide in 1937. The Case (although lacking physical evidence), is none the less compelling). British Medium Harry Price was well known for his "abilities" to make "contact" with "The Spirit World". His most famous Case involved a Ghost named "Katie", who took "control of a human host", on order to communicate. The "Rosalie" Case is his second best related encounter. After concluding his weekly Radio program, Price was contacted by the Mother of a deceased 10 year old girl (died in 1920), named "Rosalie". After all these years, the Mother was still irreconcilable to the loss of her Daughter. She told Price that 5 years after the child's death (by Diphtheria) - in 1925, the Family home had been a hotbed of Paranormal activities. Convinced of the woman's sincerity, he agreed to stage a Seance in the attempt to contact "Rosalie", and set her "to rest".
In December of 1937, Price gathered 12 people (six of which had nothing to do with the Paranormal). The Family Living Room was sealed and secured in such a way to allow no entry or exit. Other "measures" were taken to ensure the Family could not attempt to "fake" the contact with the supposed "Spirit" or Entity. After entering into a suitable "Trance State", in order to "cross the void between this World and Theirs" (as the phrase was called), the room grew icy cold. With minutes, a glowing "orb" (sometimes referred to as a "Ghost Light"), appeared. It soon assumed the "shape" of a "little girl". The "spectre" began to become a "solid manifestation". This was something NEVER seen or documented to that date. The Mother instantly identified The Being as her Daughter, "Rosalie". The Entity stood perfectly still in the center of the room. Price stated The Entity was solid and even allowed him to "touch her". "Rosalie" "felt cool to the touch". Price even pressed his ear to "Rosalie's" chest. He reasoned "her" heart rate to be 90 beats per minute!
The Mother pleaded with Rosalie to seek "peace". The Entity did not verbally communicate. After several minutes of motionless, the "form" simply vanished. In later follow ups, "Rosalie" did not return. Price was often seen as being a Hoaxer by the Mainstream Press. He refused to release the names of his Team or the real name of "Rosalie's" Family (identified only as The "Z" Family"). Because he had no photographic proof of The Entity, his story was even less believed. In 1970, Price's personal paper were Archived. His papers on "The Rosalie Case", (when read), are compelling and show no hint of fakery. Even the unverified statements of his "unnamed" Spectators have a genuinely "authentic" tone. Did Price actually manage to physically manifest about actual Spirit Belief is as always, a matter of perspective.
