Classified as a Neo-Pagan Religious belief – ‘’Romuva’’was created in the 20th Century, but traces it’s ‘’roots’’ to the 12th Century AD. The System, which ‘’borrows’’ heavily from Hinduism, concentrates of Nature ‘’Magic’’ (Folk), as originally practiced. The Romuva is akin in some aspect to Druidism. Relatively small in it’s Country of origin (Lithuania), Romuva was seen as a threat to the former Soviet Union who – outlawed it’s practice in the 1980s. ‘’Romuvans’’ are heavily versed in oral tradition of Paganism and meet during various Solstice Periods (en masee). Individual ‘’worship practices’’ are a regular facet of Believers.
