Rompo

 A mythical African beast, Rompo is a slender, Cat-like creature that always appears a bit underfed or skeletal. It's body has human-like qualities. Somewhat Badger-like, Rompo only feeds on corpses. They will not dig them up (but find them when people die in the Jungles or Deserts). They will scavenge the dead as well. The Rompo purrs while it eats! They are also said to smell very bad.
