''Rodan'' (1956)

Initially a ''stand alone'' Monster from Toho Films – ''Rodan'' was the Title character of the 1956 Film. Later associated as an Enemy in The ''Godzilla Film Franchise'', Rodan was a massive mutation of the Prehistoric Pteranadon (''Flying Reptile''). Featured in no less than 11 Movies (plus 2 remakes), Rodan had a 800 foot wingspan, which was ''His'' primary weapon. His ''flapping'' can generate massive winds capable of ''knocking over'' most other Monsters as well as the capability of leveling tall buildings. Rodan is one of Godzilla's primary Villains – having been ''brought back'' even in the recent big-budget Godzilla remakes.
