Red Cap

 Although based (somewhat), on a real subject (the supposed Servant of the evil Lord William de Soulis of Scotland), The Red Cap are a supernatural race of Beings similar to a Goblin. They are very dangerous. Known to live in mountainous locations, they are known to kill wayward travelers would accidentally stumble into their homes . They are depicted differently often with different clothes (or carrying weapons). The common thread is their Red knit Cap that they wear. Red Cap's also wear Iron Boots. If one (it was said) heard The Boots, The Red Cap was close to attack. Red Cap haunts ruined Castles as well.
