Better known by his more commonly recognized name of "Croucher", these Ancient Babylonian Demons name means "Those Who Lie In Wait". One knows one is near by the hairs that will "stand up" on your neck and arms. They prefer to remain invisible, but will take the shape of a disfigured Imp. The Croucher hides in doorways and scratches or scrapes victims ad they pass by. Some versions have The Croucher as the Spirit of a human who wanted "more" life. Other say their origins are n. The only defense in ridding a home with a Croucher, is to seal all doors and windows (leaving only a small opening on a wall) - somewhere. After "special prayers" are offered, The Croucher leaves the home through the small hole. Becoming confused at how to get back inside, Croucher will leave. This is said to be because Croucher are incredibly dim-witted.
