Pyramid Power

The Pyramids of Ancient Egypt....Long since a focal point of mystery and ''magic'' perceived all over The World. The belief spans all Cultures. Since the late 18th and continuing thru the 19th Centuries, Archaeologists have found great treasure and even even greater ''questions''. The most intriguing is the initial shape of The Pyramid in general. Since the 1930s, many ''New Age'' believers proposed that the overall geometry of The Pyramids fostered ''curative and preservative'' effects. Somewhat ''pseudo-science'' purported that food and sharpened metal (eg ''razors''), will not decompose, rust or even lose their sharpness. By the 1970s, the Worldwide phenomenon known as ''Pyramid Power'' began. Many purchased ''kits'' by which they could erect a small pyramid-shaped enclosure (made of metal or plastic or ''related''). By placing meat or even a razor blade, these components would ''defy'' their natural tendencies to rust or decompose. Claiming that The Pyramid Shape channeled (focused) ''Earth and Cosmic'' Energies that even Modern Science can't conclusively explain, hardly anyone in the 1970s did not own a ''Pyramid'' Device (mostly for fun). Another off-shot of the Trend, was that by placing a Pyramid-shaped ''device'' on the body of a ''ill'' person (in the general location of the ailment), the ''Power of The Pyramid'', would either cure or help heal the afflicted. By the late 1970s, ''Pyramid Power'' (as a Fad), would fade.
