Puck was a mythological figure seen in English folklore. He is also seen in German and Dutch fables as well. Often portrayed as a Hobgoblin - he is a mischievous Spirit. He was said play pranks and tricks on humans. He was never considered a threat or evil . Described in some regions as part-Goat and part-Human, Puck like to drink and play music or dance. Often Medieval Ceremonies (before Christianity), would include some honoring to Puck. There may also be a link to similar Ancient Greek beings who exhibited very similar attributes to Puck. Puck was also used by writers as a plot devise in many fables and learning stories . A common fable regarding Puck is that (much as A Hob), Puck could be employed to churn butter or sew.
