From The Greek meaning to ''Measure a Spirit (Soul)'', Psychometry is the claimed ability by various Mediums and Psychics to be able to ''detect'' various ''memories or emotions'' from inanimate Objects. These ''sensations'' are often described as ''mental pictures'' or strong ''emotional feelings''. The claimed ability is often seen used in conjunction with traditional Paranormal Investigations. Believers in the ''Craft'' state that all things emit a form of energy which, conversely  can remain in some form. This energy can be seen as ''good or bad''  depending on ''the Read'' determined through Psychometry. The term was first pioneered in 1842. The most common method of discernment is for One to place a hand or hands on an Object.
