A well known Grimoire, The ''Pseudomonarchia Daemonium'' is first ''known'' around 1577 AD. It is similar to another infamous Grimoire, The ''Lessor Key of Solomon''. Unlike that tome, which was seen as a Conjuring Book, The Pseudomonarchia was a listing of The Demons of Hell. As it came ''before'' The ''Solomon'' Book, many think that ''Solomon'' may have been a simple copy of The Daemonum.
