Pretas

 A component of Hindu Mythology, The ‘’Pretas’’ were seen as ‘’lost’’ Souls – or those who, after death – could NOT achieve ‘’peace nor perfection’’. Pretas are, by nature – Evil and Malicious. They are constantly ‘’hungry’’ for those ‘’emotions and experiences’’ they may have had in their ‘’former’’ Life. As such,  they ‘’attach’’ themselves to unwary Humans and ‘’force their Will’’  upon the Human ‘’Host’’ - having to ‘’experience’’ such (regardless of their dislike). As a Human possessed by a Preta, One cannot control such ‘’impulses’’. In a personified ‘’vein’’, The Petra are ‘’gross and malformed’’, often portraying Their ’’true Form’’.
