A ''theory'' dating to 1848 – ''Bio-Communication'' (Plant Perception) is supposed ability to ''talk'' to plants and impart emotional responses to ''encourage'' their growth and health. German Scientist Gustav Fechner first established that Plants ''reacted'' to Human emotions – such as ''Love'' and ''Anger'', by growing healthy or withering. The experiments would be performed and studies in France and England (1880s) as well. In the 1960s, In The United States – Bio-Communication Experiments were conducted using music of various genres. The goal was to see how various species of Plants would ''react if subjected to the sounds. It was found, Classical Music causes some species to grow more. Loud and unnerving sounds caused growth retardation. And while most conclude Plants cannot ''think and rationalize'', they can therefore not experience or react to emotions of other animals (including Man). But, other cite that Plants are ''living things'', which function very much as other animals do (ingestion of food, reproduction etc), could and are ''responsive'' to Human Emotions.
