The North American Inuit Tribe stretches from Alaska (US), into portions of Canada and Greenland as well. Thousands of years old, They have a rich and complex Mythology and Religion, based on Nature. ‘’Pinga’’ was one such Deity, associated with The Hunt and Tribal Medicine. Pinga also controlled The Souls of those Inuit who have died – with very elaborate funerary ceremonies focusing on Her. Pinga was said to convey Souls to The Afterlife. Pinga was also said to serve as intermediary to The Spirit World, allowing The Spirits to communicate with The Living, when needed.
