The ''Picatrix'' or more precisely translated to ''The Goal of The Wise'', was a 4th Century AD Arabic Grimoire which outlined The Middle eastern Beliefs in Occultism and Religion. The Picatrix detailed what is known as Talismanic Magic, or the making of special Amulets for Protection against Evil. In addition, Alchemy, Astrology and other esoteric Subjects are covered. Broken into Four Sections (printed on Vellum), The Picatrix features highly detailed Illuminated drawings. A 12th Century AD Version was translated into Spanish, with a copy currently at The British National Library.
