The Penchapechi are Bengal (India) Evil Spirits, said to reside in deep woods and forests. These Entities were never Human and their origins are unknown. Some cite that they are ''escaped'' Demons from the Underworld. They take the form of an unusually large Owl (Raptor). They are said to have ''large Red Eyes''. They wait for hapless (lost) travelers and swoop on them from high tree. Constantly diving on them, The Penchapechi slowly drive their victims deeper and deeper into the woods. Once hopelessly lost, they attack in earnest. They drain all blood and fluids from their Prey, leaving only a hollow (and quite dead) husk.
