From Medieval France, comes the Peluda. A mythical beast that terrorized man around the 8th and 9th Century, Peluda was a Hybrid beast that was part giant Porcupine, Snake and Dragon. It had massive and poisonous quills all over it's back. It lived near The Huisne River. The Peluda destroyed crops and ate cattle. It had but one weak spot it's tail. When removed, The Peluda dies. This is how it was destroyed around the 10th Century when the creature killed the wife of a local man. He swore revenge, tracked down The Peluda, and hacked off it's tail. The tail was kept as a trophy at the local Inn for many centuries before it disappeared around the 17th Century.
