Pazuzu

Pazuzu is an Elemental Demon associated with Ancient Assyrian and Babylon. Pazuzu is the God of The Wind and is also known to bring severe storms and drought. Depicted as part-Human and Lion Pazuzu has wings (hence his ability to create wind storms). With the advent of Christianity, Pazuzu was given a more traditional demonic role as one of Satan's Lesser Demons . Of note, Pazuzu was used as the demonic adversary in William Peter Blatty's novel "THE EXORCIST".
