A Hindu Deity, Parvati is The Goddess of Love, Beauty, Fertility (and several other intimate personifications). She is extremely benevolent and is often shown as the Wife of The God Shiva. As such, She is the ''Celestial Mother'' of such Deities as ''Ganesha'', ''Kartikeya'' and several others in The Hindu Panthenon of Gods and Goddess. Parvati is the installer of the natural energies generated when a Man and Woman are ''joined''. This does not have to mean an ''intimate act'' but can also be meant to portray a Husband and Wife creating beneficial energy from their Union as Man and Woman. The popular Deity can be found in several forms throughout Southeast Asia as well.
