In Greek Mythology, ''Palioxis'' was the name given to the personification of ''Retreat'' or ''Withdrawal'' during War (Conflict), while not explicitly seen as ''Cowardice'' – the dual meaning was applied to a Demi-Goddess who ''protected'' Military Assets (Armies), rather than them being totally destroyed by War or an Enemy.
