Oracle Bones

''Oracle Bones'' were a form of Ancient Chinese Divination, which can be traced to the 2nd Century BC. In theory, Shaman and Priests of Cults would procure the clavicle bone of an Ox. Once denuded and cleaned (bleached), a series of Letters (Chinese Writing) or prayers were cared or painted onto the bone. By maintaining the bones as a type of ''Library'' – arranged and kept by bone shape and size, the pre-printed ''forecasts'' of a pending Event could be selected.
