''Oni''

 In Ancient Japan, The Oni were Demons. They possessed great powers and were the cause for the misery and destruction in The World. They were Shapeshifters, who could take any form (human or animal). Their images could be quite disturbing. They could also possess humans (and make them do all manner of wickedness). Only a Shaman or Priest can remove an Oni.
