A Mythical Creature from Medieval Ireland, The Onchu was closely related to The Alphyn (a Heraldic Beast used on many Family Coats of Arms ). Described as having the Head of a Fox, the Chest of a Greyhound, the Talons of an Eagle and the Body of a Wolf. The Onchu was said to inhabit Marshes and Water Inlets. Seeing, one was said to inspire "Courage" and "Heroism". IF one was able to slay an Onchu, they were said to be "invincible" in combat.
