The Maasai of Kenya (Africa) have a Mythos about The ''Olapa''. She was The Moon Goddess for The Tribe. She was married to The Sun God Ngai. Olapa was a ''jealous'' sort, who caught Ngai ''looking at The Stars'' She stabbed at Ngai and wounded Him. To hide His wound, He increased His glow to brightness (as seen with The Noonday Sun). But Ngai also struck back, taking Olapa's eyes from Her. When The Moon is Full, One can still see Olapa's ''lack of eyes'' (or ''Craters'').
