Nyarlathotep

A "Denizen" from the mind of American Horror Author H.P. Lovecraft, The Nyarlathotep was a "God-Being" that existed in an alternative dimension. He was also referred to as "Crawling Chaos". Banished to a dimensional Prison, he can be summoned by various incantations and spells. He is said to be a Shapeshifter, capable of assuming over 1,000 guises (his favorite being that of an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh). It is said his "true" image is so terrible that to view it would drive a Human to insanity. He is described as Humanoid, with 3 arms (one of which grows from his leg). He has many fleshing extensions (Octopus like), that cover his body. His "head" resembles the same - with two eyes and a tube- like mass for a mouth. Nyarlathotep appeared in 3 of Lovecraft's novels.
