From Ancient Japan, comes the story of the mythical beast called The Nukikabe. The creature is best described as a giant fleshy wall . Stretching some 12-feet tall (but only 1 foot thick), he can make himself many hundreds of feet long. Said to have a flattened Elephantine face (with 3 eyes), Nurikabe only has 2 small front legs (to drag itself along). Nurikabe is said to like to annoy people by suddenly appearing and blocking their way. No matter which way they go, Nurikabe moves. Eventually, people get upset and turn away (making Nurikable happy!). One way of moving him is to repeatedly striking him with a large stick.
