 These mythical creatures are said to be the Ancestors of the Natives of Mali, Africa. The Natives (who refer to themselves as Dogons), claim to have come from The Sea. Their relations are said to resemble Fishmen who are 6 to 8 feet tall and bipedal. The are also referred to as The Teachers . Some think that The Nommo may have been Extraterrestrial beings who taught the Islanders ''all'' that was ''needed'' to survive!
