Although The Noden were a feature of 1920s Horror Author H.P. Lovecraft, there was a "kernal" of truth in their "existence". As described by Lovecraft, The Noden were an ancient "God Race" that were said to have been worshiped by the pre-Druid Cultures of Ancient Britain. Described as 7-feet tall and humanoid in appearance, they were described as "Old Men" with "long beards and hair". They were wild and temper prone. They demanded "blood sacrifice" and were known to be offered Virgins (which figured into their procreation). A command of land and sea, The Noden used magically created chariots made of giant shell. They broached no lack of worship, often turning loose all manner of "Hell Beast" on villages which did not adequately worship them. They were featured in just one of Lovecraft's stories.
