''Night of The Demon'' (1959)

More of a Supernatural Thriller that touted a fierce Demon in it's advertising, The British 1959 film ''Night of The Demon'' deals with an American Investigator coming to England to determine if a Satanic Cult really summoned a Demon from Hell. The Cult claims to use their ''Associate'' from Hades to cause their victims to go insane. The body count rises until it is determined by The Investigator that The ''Demon'' may really be a form of inducted hypnosis by which a victim ''thinks'' He or She is being pursued by the horrific Beast (which only seen twice in the film anyway). ''Night of The Demon'' was somewhat well received by Critics.
