The Nenets were an Arctic indigenous Tribe found in Northern Siberia (Russia). Similar in many aspects to North American Arctic Tribal Cultures, They too had a rich and colorful Mythos regarding Their ‘’Gods’’.  ‘’Nga’’ was perceived as The ‘’God of Death’’ and as such a Supreme Deity. Properly worshiped, Nga would convey The Souls of The Nenets to The Afterlife. However, if he was not so venerated, then the Soul of The Deceased could not leave it’s body. This risked the possibility of resurrecting as a ‘Demon’’ (which required many spells and rituals of a Shaman to ‘’kill’’). Normally, proper sacrifices of ‘’first kills’’ from hunting or fishing were seen as sufficient to appease Nga.
