In Several Mesopotamian Cultures, ‘’Neti’’ was a ‘’Minor Deity’’, associated with the ‘’job’’ of guarding The Entrance to The Underworld. Known as ‘’The Gaterkeeper’’, Neti controls all (7) Entrances by virtue of a set of ‘’golden keys’’. Neti featured in several Epics in which He is often fooled into surrendering His keys. Once possessed, a Soul (or in some cases a Human) – could affect a ‘’release’’ for those who suffer in The Underworld.
