Nekomata

 From Feudal Japan, The Nekomata were evil Cat-like creature-Spirits. The were said to be as large as humans, and featured a forked, serpentine tail. They had an appetite for human flesh as well. Said to be able to fly, The Nekomata could even summon the dead (and control their souls).
