Nargan

 From Aboriginal Australia comes the stories about The Nargan. A water dwelling monster the local Tribes near The Mitchell River, say that this frightful humanoid creature lives behind a waterfall near the lake. He will wait until your back is turned (or you are not paying attention) and grab you  dragging you down to your watery death (and his dinner!). If a victim is armed, it is said that the weapon in question magically turns against you! (denoting some form of supernatural power with The Nargan). The Nargan is further said to be made of all stone (or possibly hard hide). Tribes stay away from the area (and The Nargan leaves them alone).
