A Bulgarian Tale, these Spirits were Forest dwellers who assumed many woodland shapes and guises. They were often invoked after a Child was born. Once given a form of payment, they would tell the future of The Newborn. Often, greatness in War and Knowledge was bestowed upon the Child by The Narecinitsi. These Beings were quite Ancient and date to Pagan (non-Christian) times. Many of their qualities were likened to various powers held by Lucifer s Demons as seen in The Lessor Key of Solomon .
