 Another Hindu mythic creature, The Nandin is a great milk-white Bull , used by The God Shiva to ride. Nandin was also seen as a symbol of fertility and strength. Shiva also rode into battle on Nandin. Images of Nandin always portray him as kneeling (with his head always facing his Master, Shiva).
