Indicative to The Karnataka Region of Southwest India, ''Nale Ba'' (meaning ''Come Tomorrow'') is a form of ritualistic wall writing placed on the outside of a structure's door or wall. The ritualistic writing is supposed to hold Spirits at bay and deny them entry inside (to wreck havoc or bring other mishaps). The Legend centers around the Ghost of a dead Bride, killed shortly after her wedding. She wanders a Town in search of any available Man (married or not), by which they can ''steal away''. The Family will then become destitute (without a money earner). A much ''newer'' Legend tells of a Witch who comes to knock on the door of a house with The Nale Ba written on it. If one opens their door, they will perish. If one does not, the Witch becomes frustrated and will this leave coming ''back tomorrow''. Eventually, The Witch will grow tired of the ''repeat performance'' and leave.
