In The Religious ideologies of The Mandaeism (Gnostic) Beliefs – The ‘’Nalai’’ were Evil Spirits who were ‘’blood drinkers’’. In short, they were the Gnostic version of Europe’s Vampire. Seen as ‘’Evil Spirits’ who occupy a ‘’high social’’ position in ‘’The World of Darkness’’ (Mandaeic Hell), The Nalai dealt with those Souls who refused to learn from Their ‘’past life transgressions’’ (needed in being able to leave Darkness and transcend into ‘’The Light’’). The Nalai ‘’forever torment’’ these Souls, drinking their blood for all Eternity.
