An Ancient Sumerian Deity, ''Nabu'' was seen as God of Wisdom, Literacy and The Arts – within that ancient Culture. His name is associated with the word ''Prophet''. Invoked as protection to Scribes, Nabu's Cult dated to the 1st Century BC. He would also be adopted by The Assyrian and Babylonian Cultures.
