 Another Medieval Bestiary creature, The Myrmecoleon was described as part-Lion and part-Ant. It's was said to seen as either large (Lion sized), or small (as The Ant). The Race died out because of the simple fact, that The Lion ate meat, and The Ant only ate grain. Unable to come to an agreement they starved.
