The ''Muc-Sheilche'' is a Scottish mythical Creature, which lives in Loch Maree (Northern Highlands). Similar to The ''Loch Ness Monster'', Muc-sheilche's Legend dates back to the 10th Century AD. The first ''written'' account dated to a sighting in 1854. The ''Beastie'' was described as having a ''long, snake-like neck, with a Crocodile Head''. Said to be over 100-feet long, The Monster has long, paddle-like appendages (to swim with). Sightings of Muc-Sheilche have somewhat lessened over the last 20 odd years, which many attribute to a ''steal'' of publicity from the more famed Legend of ''Nessie''.
