Mount Penglai

In Ancient Chinese Mythology (and later Japan) – ''Mount Penglai'' was the ''Abode'' of not only The Gods, but all manner of ''mystical Beast'' and ''magical devices''. It was here, the Ancient Secrets of all Things were kept. In fact, the Skill to turn Stone to Gold (Western Europe's ''Philosopher Stone'' Mythos). And well as a magic ''Elixir'' which bestowed Immortality. Said to be an ''Island'', Mount Penglai was first said to exist ''far in The Pacific'' (or China Sea), to ''other Realms in other Dimensions''. The Island was said to be ''shrouded in a confusing mist'' which made it impossible to find or even Chart. Other stories say The Island and Mountain can ''move'' thru both ''time and space''. Some Emperors were said to have the ''Divine Ability'' to locate Mount Penglai, and this ''knowledge'' was often said to be passed down to their Heirs. Other tales say that the exact location can be ''summoned thru'' (as of yet) undiscovered and Ancient Magic.
