Monopod

This race of strange beings was first documented by Greek historians in the 4th Century B.C. Their race was quite a popular conjecture during The Middle Ages in many Bestiaries. These were humanoid being that were around 6 feet tall. Normal in appearance (at least down to their waist) their torso ends with one large leg. At the end of this appendage is a giant foot (perhaps 25 inches long by 20 inches wide!). Nicked named The Shade Foots , they could hop along until they tired. Laying down for a rest, they would raise their leg (and foot) using it as a fan against the Sun. Oddly, many cultures have a Shade Foot story.
