Mokumokuren

A Japanese Yokai, The ''Mokumokuren'' are said to be the very personification of a ''haunted'' House (or Shoji). These are the traditional ''Paper Houses'' of Japanese fame. Bad or negative energy (in time), can manifest itself into The Mokumokuren (normally a Female Entity). Should a Person have brought a ''fixer upper'' (as it were), there is a good chance that The Entity will haunt them. They keep Homeowners awake by ''constantly disturbing'' them (in particular, by becoming ''Eyes'' – constantly watching them!). It is said that the only way to ''get rid'' of The Entity is the ''simple act'' – of repairing any and all holes in the delicate walls.
