Unlike the previously discussed ''Gris-Gris'' satchel, a ''Mojo Bag'' was (and is) a common form of Charm/Talisman, used by Believers of various forms of Caribbean and American Folk Magic. The term ''Mojo'' is taken to mean a person's specific ''talent'' (good or bad). Various Charms and Artifacts are gathered by the person, all of which are relative to this ''gift''. In addition, Prayers and Incantations are written on small scraps of paper and placed inside ''The Bag''. It is believed that The Mojo Bag will (as long as it is carried on the person), will both ''enhance and protect'' the person. It is important to NEVER allow anyone else to ''possess'' or ''touch'' a Bag not theirs (least all ''Magic'' turns ''Bad''). There is no specific type of cloth or design pattern required for the construction of The Mojo Bag. It must however be able to be secured (tied shut), to allow none of your ''skill or luck'' to ''escape''.
