A ‘’mythical remedy’’ dating to 134 BC (by some accounts) – ‘’Mithridate’’ was claimed to be an antidote which could protect One from ‘’any poison’’ known. ‘’Created’’ by Mithridates of Pontus, Ruler of Anatolia – His ‘’formula’’ involved no less than (26) rare herbal ingredients which, some say were more akin to Alchemy. Having been poisoned (but survived), Mithridates sought ‘’learned’’ Men (again possibly Alchemists), to concoct The Formula – which was named for Him. Known in The Medieval Era, it's ‘’original’’ form was lost. However, many examples of ‘’similar’’ ingredients (which existed into the early 20th Century), proved that by taking Mithridate – ‘’strange curative properties’’ could be exhibited. Some say the original form could also cure any disease as well.
