Minos was the first King of Crete and was a Demi-God , whose Father was none other than Zeus. It was his edict of selecting (7) boys and girls of various Kingdoms under his control to be sent to The Labyrinth to be consumed by The Minotaur. Upon Minos death, his Spirit was assigned as one of The Gods of Judgment of The Underworld (Hades). He is often portrayed in Art as being haughty and dignified (as a King or Judge) often with curly hair and wearing a Crown. He is also given the ears of a Donkey (seen as a symbol of stupidity) with this linked to his over zealous sacrificing of youth to The Minotaur. Minos primarily judges The Damned. He is also portrayed in Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel.
