As we have seen, ''Mictianteuchi'' was The Aztec ''Lord of The Dead'' and Ruler of that Culture's ''Underworld''. Akin to Greek's ''Hades'', He was a particularly fierce and dreaded God. He had a Wife, seen as ''Consort'', named ''Mictecacihtl''. Her origins, state that She was a ''Beautiful Princess'' of an Aztec King. So beautiful in fact, that She was sacrificed to The Gods. The Lord of The Dead ''saw'' Her Soul and wanted to ''keep it for His own''. But as ''Consort'' of The Lord, Her ''beauty'' took on a form ''more to His liking''. Mictecacihtl is portrayed in Art as being ''flayed'' (without skin) and ''bloody''. During The Coming of The Dawn, she ''eats up all Stars'', only to vomit them up at Night.
