From HP Lovecraft's 1930s Short Story ''The Whisperer in The Darkness'' – The ''Mi-Go'' were Inter-dimensional Aliens bent of World and Universe conquest. They were described as being a giant ''Fungus-Based'' class of organisms who had mastered genetic manipulation of conquered Races as well as themselves. The Mi-Go mostly adopted the body parts of their Slaves to augment their own appearance. As One can imagine, The Mi-Go were quite ''horrific'' to look at. Another popular ''form'' that The Mi-Go took, was that of large ''Crab-like'' Beings. Small by nature (5-feet long), they do have issues breathing oxygen. An Ancient ''Protective Order'' of Humanity known as ''The Brotherhood of The Yellow Sign'' serve as Hunters to protect Mankind from The Mi-Go.
