''Megingjoro'', The Belt of Thor

A ‘’magical’’ component/weapon which belong ed to The Norse God Thor – ‘’Megingjoro’’ was a girdle or belt, worn around the waist of Thor.  The Belt ‘’doubled’’ Thor’s strength, and enhanced both His Gauntlets and War Hammer. An ‘’oral Saga’’, The Belt would first appear in writing as late as the 10th Century AD.  When Thor was ‘’assumed’’ into Valhalia (Heaven) – The Belt – Megingjoro ‘’went with His Body’’.
